If you’re going to be in the area during Father’s Day weekend, you should definitely take part in a veggie good time during the Rehoboth Beach VegFest! You don’t have to be a vegetarian to truly appreciate how delicious vegetables can be, so why miss out on all the fun? We guarantee there will be plenty of amazing things to see, taste and experience during the three-day event this year!
Now in its second year, the Rehoboth Beach VegFest will be start out on Friday, June 13th with a delicious dinner at Hobos Restaurant and Bar – which also happens to be this year’s sponsor! Later in the night, attendees will be treated to a screening of “The Ghost in our Machine”, a documentary that highlights the lives of animals living within and rescued from the “modern machine” of our world. Director/producer Liz Marshall and photographer/protagonist Jo-Anne McArthur will even be there for a Q&A session.
Then on Saturday the 14th, get ready for the really fun stuff! Check out the free outdoor festival which will feature cooking demonstrations, free food examples, countless exhibitors and local food vendors and a few words from some passionate speakers.
Finally on the last day of VegFest, what better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with brunch? Tickets are $30 per persona at the door or $25 if you take advantage of the early bird special. Come on out with Dad and enjoy several courses of vegan brunch while you chat it up with some of the event’s most prominent speakers, including Pail Shapiro and John Schlimm.
The event will be taking place all throughout Rehoboth Beach, so you really can’t miss it! Learn more at rehobothvegfest.org and then head back here to book your weekend reservations with us at Beach View Hotel!
